tablets which might have thought a low price made them safe from the iPad onslaught are going to
see even more competition from the iPad.

seen a lot of

What we might
see is the Nook 2 WiFi (possibly at $ 99 or $ 129 $) and a few
cheap Android Tablets.
On the show floor at CTIA we found the
cheapest Android tablet we've ever
seen in the U.S., and went hands - on.
Maybe you don't like Apple, maybe you've
seen some
cheap tablets, or maybe you have an
Android phone and love it.
With the influx of

see a huge growth in their share, but 30 % seems suspect.

cheap from any of the regular
Android manufacturers.

We'll likely
see some retailers offer deep discounts on
cheaper models (last year, TigerDirect.com led the pack with a $ 5 ProScan 8 GB
Android tablet), while others like Target and Walmart may offer both iPads and
Android tablets at full price but pair them with sizeable free store gift cards.
The thing that really makes
Android tablets compelling — and the only reason
Android tablets started
seeing real traction after years of almost complete dominance by Apple's iPads — is that
Android tablets are available for so much
cheaper than iPads.
Even with discounts offers, iPads can be a bit expensive - but thankfully we're already
seeing some lower costs prices here - and also check out the

As for the
tablets, they're some of the
cheapest ways to get
Android 8.1 Oreo on a big screen that we've
seen so far.
Some people will need more power, others will prefer an even
cheaper iPad option, but given Microsoft's continuing popularity in the world, there's clearly a place for Windows
tablets, especially
seeing as
Android tablets, like a Berocca, seem to have fizzled.
