They were concerned about stories they had
seen or read in the news about
dog flu outbreaks.

dog has had a recent respiratory infection, be sure to keep him or her at home for at least four weeks to allow the
dog to recover fully and to minimize the risk of spreading the infection to other

In March of 2015, veterinarians in the Chicago area reported
seeing some kind of respiratory infection that made
dogs a lot sicker than they would have expected from canine
flu or other respiratory infections they were used to
seeing in
dogs.
Of course, some
dogs with mild
flu symptoms aren't even considered, since they may never even
see a veterinarian.
There is nothing more nerve - wracking for any dedicated
dog owner than
seeing his or her pet down with a
flu.
Both the scientific literature and what has been
seen during the outbreaks suggests that
Dog Flu is highly infectious.
