see if there was a way to sneak the orange
vegetable into our flapjacks.
So I went searching to
see exactly what
vegetables fall into the root category and I came up with onions.

seen pesto croutons, dense and moist coconut almond cakes, caramelized roasted
fall vegetables with herbs and olive oil and so much more.
Root
vegetables aren't something you normally
see paired with pasta but in the
fall / winter months when they're at their peek is the perfect time to use these jewels.

It remains to be
seen how the garden grows throughout the rest of the summer and
fall, but if it's this exciting when the plants are brand new, I can't imagine how thrilling it will be to harvest larger, fully ripened
vegetables.
