I've lived on three continents and picked up facebook friends in a few more so was pleased to see one some current posts on my personal blog viewed in 18 countries in just a few hours but I'm not expecting to make it to the list of 100 top blogs anytime soon.

I've always been nervous about cooking for other people, and this blog has amplified the pressure a little bit — our friends and family see me posting all these recipes, so the whole idea of me cooking dinner has become a little more exciting than it used to be.

I have yet to try sourdough croissants, a much more involved process, but when I saw a blog post joining bubbly starter with chocolate in a twisted shaping, I could not wait to try it.
