Your best chance of
seeing orca whales on a one day kayak trip anywhere in the United States!
Johnstone Strait is a 68 - mile channel that is home to approximately 150 Orcas, so your chances of
seeing an Orca on a kayaking trip during the summer months is very high.

seeing orcas on a kayak day trip from mid-July through mid-September are average, they are wild animals and do not always conform to our plans.

see any orcas during your kayaking trip, save some time to do a whale watching tour from a boat.
If lucky, you may
see Orca or Humpback whales as they swim by the camp, however this is less likely than on our tours departing from Telegraph Cove.

The wild dolphins are never baited or chased.These warm ocean waters are teaming with a variety of sea life and there you might also
see orcas, pilot humpback and other whales.

While we have a 98 % success rate for
seeing orcas, they are wild animals that roam at will and thus, we are unable to guarantee a sighting.
