I've never

I've never tried them so I don't know if any ginger
cookie recipe will do or if it has to be gingersnap... I searched your recipes and
saw you have one for
soft and chewy gingersanp
cookies but I would think that I need crunchy ones to make crumbs for the crust, right?
The alternate version ended up spreading a lot despite setting the freezer for at least 2 days and was really
soft, like the
soft sugar
cookies you
see in the store.

I like

saw it had cream cheese, fresh strawberries, and white chocolate.

Honestly, with a concept like that you can't possibly go wrong, however if I didn't already have such a
soft spot for Dutch baked goods (
see: plain and gevulde speculaas, peperkoek, and schichttorte), I might have let this challenge pass me by, because stroopwafels require the use of a rather specific piece appliance that I do not own and didn't really want to purchase: a waffle
cookie iron or pizzelle iron.

cookies or fast food, it changes their behavior.
See, the trouble with liquid oils is they are difficult to transport, can't be stored for long (they go rancid easy), and don't add quite the right texture to your food (imagine
cookies dripping with oil instead of having their usual
soft creamy texture bought about of course, by the use of trans - fats).
