I'm on a bit of a kick for the
original game at the moment so when I
saw this lovely piece of
artwork I thought it deserved to be wallpaperfied:

Seems like a pretty fresh take on the whole JRPG and even the

see in that genre.

original instruction booklet, she is mentioned and given the name Nurse Toadstool, although this was revised as Nurse Peach in one of the «Tips» of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Nurse Toadstool would presumably be Dr. Mario's close personal assistant, but she does not have a major role in any version of the game and she is barely

In titles such as the God of War and Metal Gear Solid HD remasters, we've
seen how, with careful nurturing,
original PS2 - era
artwork can shine when rendered in high definition.
High definition resolutions, enhanced
artwork, improved audio, smoother frame - rates, stereoscopic 3D support... a good HD conversion
sees the
original game being handled with respect in its transition to more powerful hardware, accepting that sometimes a 720p facelift alone isn't enough, and that without care and attention, can actually diminish the impact of titles designed for the low - res CRT era.

Day of the Tentacle Remastered
sees original co-project lead Tim Schafer and his studio Double Fine Productions (Grim Fandango Remastered) taking the
original and updating it over 20 years later to feature all new hand - drawn, high - resolution
