on redistricting
plans to hold a series of hearings over the next few weeks, to
seek public comment on the proposed lines.
FHWA and FTA reopened the docket for 30 days beginning
on September 23 (with the
comment period ending
on October 24) to
seek public comment on certain issues raised in the NPRM, including
on the impact of the proposed requirements for unified
planning products where multiple MPOs serve the same UZA, potential exceptions that should be included in the final rule, and criteria for applying such exceptions.
