seen the original Moto Z Play then, well, the Z2 Play looks like business as usual at first glance.
Not exact matches
Compared to this generation of Android Wear watches it's basically the same experience you'll
see everywhere, but compared to the
original Moto 360 this watch flies.
Motorola later improved on the feature by adding interaction with your notifications, which is why we all remember it so well, and why we've
seen it on nearly every device from the company since the
original Moto X back in 2013.

Gone were the sleek circles we
saw with the
Moto 360 or
original Huawei Watch, replaced with LTE - enabled behemoths that required equally giant wrists.
We've
seen the rise of the affordable phone with the
original Moto G, but now the trend has moved into the premium space by the increasingly powerful influence of Chinese OEMs like Xiaomi and Huawei, and start - up companies like OnePlus.
I've worn countless smartwatches since 2013, and while my friends know me as the smartwatch guy, the only other smartwatch I would
see on the wrist of passers - by was the
Moto 360, and I'm talking the
original Moto 360 here, the second - generation has been less popular here.
Ideally I would have liked to
see the
Moto G utilize 1080p recording, though I imagine Motorola didn't want to spend much development time updating the camera software that was used in the
original Moto G.
However, lower processing power doesn't necessarily always equate to a longer lasting smartphone, as we've
seen from several mid-range handsets such as the
original Moto G.
We've been living with the
Moto G 2014 to
see if bigger really is better or if it slips behind an
original that might be too good to beat.
I occasionally bust out my
original Moto X from 2013 to
see how it's doing, and it works as well as it did the day I got it.
Those who have used the
original Moto 360 from last year will immediately
see the difference between it and this year's
Moto 360 Sport.
Whatever happens we expect something will change, as while the
original Moto Z has a good camera, it's not a match for the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S7, HTC 10, or indeed most of 2016's flagships, as you can
see in our best camera phone test.
As
seen on the Google Product Forums, Android Wear 2.0 update is finally making its way to the 2nd - gen
Moto 360 and the
original Huawei Watch.
With performance, we
saw a big improvement over the
original Moto 360.

original Moto 360, we
saw a few stutters in the animations throughout the OS.
However, since the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, we could
see it released towards the end of the first half or early in the second half of 2017, just like the
original Moto Z.
It's been an interesting six months for Android Wear, we've
seen the follow - up to the
