I would love to
see a study with a matched control group... that is, a group with equal risk factors (education level, socioeconomic background, etc.)... that looked

see mom, auntie, or mom's friend regularly
breastfeeding a baby, chances are they
at some point will try to do the same.
I had lots of help: dh was not working
at the time and was committed to helping me 24/7 and was 100 % supportive; mil is a IBCLC and would drop everything and come to our home if we called her; my midwife was passionate about
breastfeeding, visited me ever other day, sometimes every day; I
saw Dr. Jack Newman regularly until my son was 8 weeks old.
Yeah I'd be interested to
see comparative studies looking
at rates of allergies and rates of c - sections and
breastfeeding / formula use.
I
see the same thing from people everyday, expressing their shock and disdain
at breastfeeding Mothers.
Struggling to keep up with the demands of
breastfeeding, I felt like anyone who
saw me using a bottle would think I'd failed or that I was bad
at being a mom.
After
seeing overly idealized and unrealistic photos of
breastfeeding, Suzie realized a need to capture the reality of
breastfeeding, that it can be difficult, stressful, frustrating, or even merely boring, but not
at all glamorous.
I stopped
breastfeeding at 8 months and now with diet and exercise I am

Just going out in public it's not uncommon to
see several
breastfeeding and baby - wearing moms & dads, so it's easy to meet like - minded parents, even when we're not

I was just thinking to myself how rubbish a mummy I was as I'd only
seen him for a couple of hours all weekend, he'd had a sleepover
at his Auntie's and then nursery, I'd been
breastfeeding our brand new little guy when he'd left in the morning so hadn't even had a proper cuddle and he'd been running round like a loon
at the party.
At least my son will grow up a

Little boys that either play with the doll themselves (I hear people everywhere freaking out
at the idea) or
at least
see their sister or friends play with the doll will have an early precedent set that
breastfeeding is just how babies are fed.
Do you seriously think a mother who is
breastfeeding her baby ever walked into a supermarket,
saw formula on offer and thought «hmm, cheaper formula — I'll stop using my free breast milk if it's on
at that price».
Luckily I can look
at my baby girl who will be 5 soon and
see that formula didn't kill her when she only
breastfed for 2 weeks.
You
see, my hospital was also one of those pro-
breastfeeding ones that essentially receives a GRANT for convincing 100 % of all moms to
at least attempt
breastfeeding.
I know when I
see a woman
breastfeeding I will avert my eyes but I still want to look
at boobs.
Most of the time when I was nursing in public, I doubt anyone but a mother who had also
breastfed knew what I was doing — I often had people ask if they could
see the baby, totally unaware that she was eating
at the time.

at a young age that it's okay and then hopefully as they are older it normalizes

see anything but and tell you what, it was like two or three minutes of talking about

My initial goal was 6 months... we made it much further and I would have continued until 1 year but I had lost almost 15 lbs
