seen out of the franchise is ports and slight remakes.

Franchisors are masters
of logistics, which is why, even with very popular items, you rarely
see a
franchise business run
out of anything.

see a carousel
of players constantly going in and
out of the
franchise, there's a good chance the organization isn't built to succeed.
In the role
of 11 - year - old, newly motherless Max, he is the saving grace
of «Real Steel,» helping not only to bring
out the humanity in Atom — Max just knows the bot has the circuitry
of a champion — but sparking a flicker
of life in Jackman, who's had a tough time getting his acting to outshine his muscle - flexing prowess and his model good looks (
see the «X-Men»
franchise for the first, celebrity fashion spreads for the rest).
A new TV spot has arrived online for the fifth instalment in the Jurassic Park
franchise, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom which gives us a look at few snippets
of previously unseen footage from the blockbuster sequel; check it

While this does not rule
out seeing Stewart and McKellen in future X-Men films, the fact that these two actors will not be in Apocalypse is a bit
of a surprise considering that both actors have appeared in a majority
of the films in the X-Men
franchise.
It'll be interesting to
see if Harry (Dane DeHaan) or Norman Osborn takes a villainous turn in this film, or if they're part
of a larger arc that will play
out over subsequent entries in the
franchise.
Mockingjay Part 2 doesn't quite reach those heights, but plays
out like a gripping recap
of the best bits
of the rest
of the
franchise: the gulf between rival suitors Gale and Peeta is clearer than ever, thanks to their conflicting ideologies; the clash between dictatorship and democracy is brutally violent; and the action sequences buzz with thrill and ingenuity not
seen since Catching Fire.
Despite the addition
of deeper tactics we fear that Fire Emblem Warriors may still be too samey for those who have struggled with Koei Tecmo's
franchise in the past, but everyone else should definitely give this a try; it may well be one
of the best Musou
outings yet
seen.
Once again, The Hangover
franchise continues to prove that it's probably even funnier the less you are exposed to wild humor (for example:
see «Naked Asian Man Pops
Out Of Trunk in The Hangover).
Each character has their own ending so those who are a big fan
of the Scott Pilgrim
franchise will probably get some extra replayability
out of this title to
see all
of those extra endings.
Those that have
seen the first three films will probably watch this just because they've already invested quite a bit
of time to this
franchise, and it's just so hard to back
out now once you've gotten this far, even if it isn't exactly stirring or intellectually stimulating.
It's nice to
see Liam Hemsworth stretch his wings outside
of a
franchise, and Harrelson as the antagonist should be a delight — he gave one
of the most terrifying villain performances in recent memory in last year's underrated
Out of the Furnace.
Whether it's possible to squeeze even one more drop
of terror
out of this
franchise remains to be
seen, but hiring a real director like Green all about assures that it will have creative vision.
The enemies are also from the different
franchises: in the trailer, we
saw Dante (Devil May Cry) team up with Demitri (Darkstalkers) against a puppet minion straight
out of the first Devil May Cry, and a glimpse
of Street Fighter's gi - wearing poster boys Ryu and Ken beating up a Resident Evil tyrant lookalike using their brand
of Hadoukens and Shoryukens.
WARNING: SPOILERS FOR DEADPOOL 2 If you haven't
seen the newest installment in the Deadpool
franchise then leave now, I'm about to spoil the chimichangas
out of it.
While most die - hard Marvel fans have been busy regathering their brains after the decimating Avengers: Infinity War ending, which
saw many
franchise staples pfft
out of existence, some were left questioning what happened to one character in particular: Captain Marvel.
While we have showcased tons
of references to Michael Myers and the Halloween
franchise in pop culture over the years, this is definitely one
of the coolest shout -
outs that we have
seen.

During Star Wars Celebration last month it was revealed Rogue One will focus on a crew who set
out to steal the Death Star plans, so it seems likely Luna could be playing a central member
of rebel soldier Felicity Jones» gang — regardless, I'm just excited to
see the first Star Wars Anthology film is continuing Force Awakens «trend
of diversifying the
franchise and casting incredible actors
of color (crossing all my appendages that Rogue One actually delivers on its rumored LGBTQ + representation as well).
Put the two together and you get an interesting possibility; while many players dislike the modern - day sections, others would really like to
see the meta - plot
of the
franchise come
out of the hold it's been in since the end
of Assassin's Creed 3.

see if they stick, like robotic guard dogs that are pulled
out of the Wolfenstein video game

saw the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 versions
of the game which were eventually cancelled.

The Russo brothers aren't entirely counting themselves
out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe after they wrap their much - hyped (and still - untitled) «Avengers: Infinity War» sequel — frankly, they need a little bit
of time to breathe before announcing anything about their
franchise plans going forward — but the directors already have a clear idea what they'd like to
see from the next phase
of the sprawling blockbuster series.
There's tons
of speculation that we could be getting up to three characters revealed to help round
out the roster, with many people hoping for additional Fire Emblem characters, while others want to
see Nintendo pull characters from other gaming

I would really love to
see the Clash
of Ninja
franchise branch
out the way the Ultimate Ninja series has in recent years, but so far, it looks like fans will just have to be content with this title being «just another» Clash
of Ninja.
«The Lone Ranger» is a
franchise so long dormant — a radio series that moved onto TV in the 1950s, the property last
saw the big screen in 1981's ill - begotten «The Legend
of the Lone Ranger» — that Verbinski and his writers think the only way
out is to reduce the story to ironic rubble.
Visions may lack some
of the atmosphere
of Jessabelle, which used its Louisiana locations to great effect, and Fisher lacks the compelling, quirkier presence
of the earlier film's Sarah Snook, but Visions serves as further evidence that Greutert is one
of the most interesting mainstream horror directors around — I can easily
see a The Conjuring - style success in his future — and that despite its many diminishing - returns
franchise films (Paranormal Activity, Sinister, Insidious, et al.), Blumhouse is far from running
out of ideas.

Fisher's larger role is still more sentimental than essential, but Johnson manages to pull a trick
out of his bag moviegoers won't
see coming that, along with the final moments
of Rogue One, fittingly establish Leia / Fisher as the heart
of the entire
franchise.

franchise and turn
out something worth
seeing.

When asked about the challenges
of making K - 2SO stand
out from the other already iconic droids
of the
franchise, Tudyk said that «it was written really distinctly,» and that his Imperial background helped shape how he'd stand apart from the protocol or astromech droids we've
seen in the past:
A fishing game isn't the immediate thing you'd think
of when considering potential gameplay directions for titles spun off from the mainline Final Fantasy series; after thirty years we've
seen more than our fair share
of deviations from the established JRPG formula the
franchise helped popularise, including forays into real time strategy and even Chocobo racing games, but FFXV: Monster
of the Deep truly stands
out as an oddity amongst even those initially curious choices.
If it wasn't a remake, then another sequel to a tired and
out of steam
franchise was coming
out (Final Destination,
Saw).
Plus, find

of what we
saw on the big screen, and
see a visual effects breakdown show off a bunch
of post-production work that went in to the new Marvel
franchise starter.
Not as commendable were the slick but forgettable Leatherface, the first disappointment by French filmmaking duo Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury; the Spierig Brothers» Jigsaw, part 8
of the exhausted
Saw series; the dull Amityville: The Awakening by Franck Khalfoun, usually a respectable genre director, who does still add his share
of clever touches (and meta moments, like when a group
of teenagers watch the original Amityville Horror in the «real» Amityville haunted house, into which one's family has just moved); Open Water 3: Cage Dive, whose shark -
franchise designation was tacked on as an afterthought, not that it helped to draw in audiences (in an anemic year for great whites, 47 Meters Down takes the prize for the best shark film); Jeepers Creepers 3, a super-limited release — surely in part because
of director Victor Salva's history as a convicted child molester — which just a tiny bit later would probably have been shelved permanently in light
of the slew
of reprehensible - male - behavior
outings in recent months.
