I've
seen painted cabinets with the joints cracked and are very noticeable on the painted doors compared to stained doors.
I'm anxious to
see your painted cabinets... I'm sure they'll be all you wanted them to be!

see so many people who sell a chalk
paint and wax line say that wax is perfect for sealing kitchen
cabinets and it drives me batty.

It seems impossible that Coppola could keep this up for the duration of the picture, could
see to fruition the kind of viable update / continuation of Wiene's The
Cabinet of Dr. Caligari that the Akira Kurosawa film he helped produce, Kagemusha, with its sanguineous, medieval battlegrounds
painted with heavy brushes, aspired to be.
Painting is usually the most enjoyable part of this process because you get to
see the light at the end of the tunnel and your beautiful new

We did ad a pantry, I found 2 pantry
cabinets on Craigslist for $ 30 pictured below, they needed some TLC well after a good cleaning and some
painting they turned out great as you will
see in the pictures.
The repairs that I could
see from the walk through were minimal, carpet - I'm considering removing the carpet in all the units and getting the wood floors sanded and refinished,
paint, tenting the place to get rid of pests, replacing the
cabinets in two of the units - the rest need re-staining (or a fresh coat of
paint), some outlet covers, light fixtures, things like that.

see!
Once you get the
cabinets prepped and ready for
paint, I would encourage you to call a professional painter that has sprayed oil or shellac to
see what they would charge to spray them.
I do love chalk
paint (like I used on the blue craft
cabinet you can

Again, here's a shot of what our kitchen looks like right now: The
cabinets are currently
painted mustard yellow, and they have a chocolate brown glaze on them that you can
see when you're standing up close to them.
After
seeing that kitchen, I am off to Lowes for white
paint to repaint my
cabinets and then find some fresh flowers.
At the time, we skipped more complicated or messy things like new counters or
painting cabinets and instead added a wall of DIY board & batten, some fun cheery
paint, a DIY faux tin tile backsplash (which by the way you can
see is still there and working great for us years later!)

Love the progress... love the white tiles and bench tops... can't wait to

Even though we still have a second coat to
paint and some touch - ups, I tried moving our «entertaining»
cabinet (which was previously set in the living room of this house) to the wall directly opposite the front door just to
see what the hall will look like with furniture.
And for the ugly
cabinets you can
see in the before photo, concealed simply with new
cabinet doors and
paint.
And I can't wait to

Instead of choosing the expensive route of replacing the kitchen, I decided to

seen different posts about using acrylic latex
paint and other swearing by oil based for

Mainly, I realized that the south window on the other side of the sink brought in tremendous light but I could
see it come to an abrupt halt when it hit the
cabinet and I knew even with the
cabinet painted white, that effect would still be there and who wants to look at a
cabinet anyway.
And, yes, the bulk of my clients request to
see what their
cabinets would look like
painted white, but every once in a while someone wants / needs them to stay as - is and I'm happy to work with the wood tones too!
Wow and just in the nick of time, I just started sanding my
cabinets to restain them and I
saw your pin I love it solo much I am now going to
paint my
cabinets white.
You
see, when your
cabinets are stained, you don't notice all of the gaps but I promise... when you
paint them they will stick out everywhere!
I
see that you
painted the
cabinets about a year ago.
You can
see the peaked ceiling and floor in there were in need of repainting and staining, and the white room had hand
painted doors on a china
cabinet in between the windows but I felt like those were too much with the antique Chinoiserie screen that we inherited from our Grandmother Mary.
