One of the movie
trailers I
saw at the theater last week was for the remake of «Clash of the Titans» — the
original is one of my all time favorites.
The Powers That Be at Dimension Films did it a further service by allowing Rodriguez to keep his marvelous faux
trailer at the beginning of the piece, and while we're still missing the remaining three «previews» from the
original Grindhouse (I'm dying to
see the purported half - hour cut of Werewolf Women of the SS), the sight of Danny Trejo strutting his stuff as Machete makes for a perfect mood - setter.
Even if you haven't
seen the
original I got ta think the
trailers should get one jazzed up for the movie!

I've never
seen the
original but after looking up some information on it and finding out that the
original starred Walter Matthau and Robert Shaw I'm somewhat interested in that, but the
trailer for this version starring John Travolta and Denzel Washington just looks aweful.
While our # 1 prediction, Moana, hasn't even come out yet, what we've
seen of it from the
trailer and stills and that Emmy, Grammy and Tony winner Lin - Manuel Miranda (Hamilton) is doing
original songs for the film (hello, EGOT) is enough to sell us on it as the film to beat.
