we seen video game projects crowdfund, make a boat load of cash and then die out leaving the community empty handed.

Razer showed off two new prototypes at the show this year:
Project Valerie (
seen above) and
Project Ariana, a projection / camera system for making
video games impact the real world around your screen.
Hatsune Miku:
Project Diva F is different than other rhythm
games in that the button indicators appear all around the screen in an effort to get players to
see more of what's going on in the
video rather than just watching a line of indicators at the bottom of a screen.
Better still, for anyone needing a bit more Inception in their lives, the
Project Diva F

Game Addicts Sprechchor» has actually been aired on the giant screen in the main plaza inside of Phantasy Star Online 2 (where the
video itself is set) for all the players to
see.
As an example of this augmented reality feature, Audi says the heads - up display will
project a giant arrow that points the way to your destination, kinda like something you might
see in a
video game.
After all, it's not everyday that you
see automakers from all over the world sign up for such an unprecedented
project of designing
video game exclusive concept vehicles.
It's there that the biggest publishers and developers of the
video game industry will reveal new
projects, never before
seen footage of their upcoming
games, and more.
I took a few moments to interview the Vice President of Bandai Namco Amusements America Frank Cosentino about the history of the
project and how it came to fruition - you can
see that in the
video below: Star Wars enjoys a long heritage of
video games, albiet it of a mixed quality, but in terms of the arcade, the original Atari vector graphics title stands tall.
This will likely continue, unless crowdfunding suddenly becomes more popular with studios (in the way it's popular for Tabletop Games as we will
see next), but this seems very unlikely given the current trends and the nature of what it takes to create big
video game projects.

I'm always eager to
see any news or media from Masaya Matsuura / NanaOn - Sha, creator of much - loved
games like PaRappa the Rapper and UmJammer Lammy, so it was great to finally
see this tiny bit of
video from his latest
project, Haunt for Xbox Live Arcade, come out of Tokyo
Game Show.
In a hilarious
video explaining the fundraising
project, Schafer explains that they couldn't pitch an adventure
game to publishers because the genre is
seen as dead — something that would be quite difficult to argue with publishers because, hey, when was the last time you bought a retail point - and - click adventure
game for your Xbox 360?
Our first
project as a team «Up Up Ubi» has been a great learning experience for us and also let's us
see the possibilities we have with the
video game medium.
But sadly none of this is to be, I'm hoping some of these
projects might be salvaged and used as a structure for individual
video games but we might never
see any of these
projects come to light.
Since then, fans have scrutinized the
project and the reasons behind why The Dark Knight
video game never
saw the light of day (night?).
Seeing this completed
projects makes us really wish there were also high quality wooden weapons of all of our favorite
video game items.
