selling Zelda game of all - time.

selling Zelda game and it definitely deserves it!
With over 8 million copies sold on Switch alone and another 1.5 million copies sold on Wii U, Breath of the Wild is the best
selling Zelda game of all time.

selling Zelda game of all time and has won several accolades at the GDC Awards and the DICE Awards.
The Legend of Zelda was commercially successful, selling 6.5 million copies worldwide and being the fourth best - selling Nintendo Entertainment System game of all time; [23] it's also the second best -
selling Zelda game to date, the best seller being Ocarina of Time, which sold 7.6 million copies.
Well It has done so well in fact, that in Japan, it is the second highest
selling Zelda game in the last 18 years, the first being The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time.

It is the highest
selling Zelda game in history and the veritable centrepoint of Nintendo's official Legend of Zelda timeline for a reason.
The games have also flown off the shelves with Super Mario Odyssey the biggest of the bunch as it sold 10.41 million units, 9.22 million copies of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe were sold, 8.48 million of Breath of the Wild (making it the best
selling Zelda game, 6.02 million copies of Splatoon 2 and twelve games in total passing the million seller mark.

The phenomenal numbers put Super Mario Odyssey on the path to becoming the best
selling game for the Switch, Nintendo's latest gaming console; fans are buying it even faster than they bought The Legend of
Zelda: Breath of the Wild, a launch title that was heralded as one of the best

The Switch has had a tremendous initial lineup of
games, kicking things off with «The Legend of

With Hyrule Warriors likely to appeal more to Warriors fans than
Zelda fans, the fact the
game only
sold through 57 % of its shipment, could indicator that fans of both franchises are either confused over what it's supposed to be, or that it's for more of a niche market.
Of course, the fact that it's a
Zelda - like probably is one of the biggest reasons the
game sold so well on Nintendo Switch in the first place.
The worst part about this rumor is that a new
Zelda was promised to Wii U owners in 2012, but a mere four years later Nintendo is ready to introduce the Wii Uâ $ ™ s successor without the very
game thatâ $ ™ s promise

We don't want to play only Mario and
Zelda games, I guess Nintendo should understand that by now, if they want to increase
sells.
SMG Studios noted in September that Death Squared
sold more on the Switch in the first three days than all other platforms it released on combined, while the same thing happened to the

game Oceanhorn.
While Skyward Sword and The Wind Waker HD snag 1st and 2nd with four other
Zelda games also making it onto the list, a whopping 11 Mario titles also
sold rather well.

sell well for N) and with a great
Zelda game, so a strong start was expected.
Obviously people don't share your same view on nintendo

Zelda outsold your new IP Horizon Zero Dawn and Mario Odyssey has
sold 9 million copies in 3 months.
Any system of theirs will
sell millions just by announcing a new
Zelda game, so the industry held its breath to see how third party
games would fare on the Wii.

sells the most.
According to Amazon sales charts, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the online retailer's best -
selling game of 2017 so far, beating out the The Legend of
Zelda: Breath of the Wild for Nintendo Switch and Horizon Zero Dawn.
Starting with «The Legend of
Zelda: Breath of the Wild» as a launch
game, moving to «Mario Kart 8 Deluxe» and «Splatoon 2,» then finishing up 2017 with «Super Mario Odyssey,» it's easy to see why Nintendo's Switch
sold so well: Some of this year's best
games were exclusive to the Switch.
While
Zelda: Breath of the Wild keeps most Switch owners still occupied, a console can only survive and
sell more units, if
games keep coming.
There is a large fanbase of
Zelda gamers that have grown tired of what the franchise has turned into that base is shrinking, pointing to a
game that
sold well on Wii is erroneous thinking because Wii U won't even
sell in its lifetime a fraction of what Wii
sold.
Again those
games have come and gone aside from
Zelda there is nothing else that has mass appeal and
Zelda's days of mass appeal are behind it, this new one is open world it has people already turned off so you can not assume it will
sell a lot of Nintendo
gamers who do not like PS4 HATE open world
games are you tellng me the typical
gamer who hates that type of
game will still enjoy
Zelda no matter what?
That would be a perfect console seller, and as statistics have shown, Mario
games sell consoles even more so than
Zelda games.
In total, the series has
sold over 80 million copies as of 2017 if we include every possible
game made in the
Zelda universe.
It is with no doubt going to be one of the best
selling and most loved
Zelda games in the franchise.
