If Ramsey is demanding 200k per week, is it not
cheaper to give it to him on a 4 year contract which will cost us 41,6 million rather than
selling him for the 35million Arsenal
valuation, buying another midfielder of his calibre for
at least 50million who will probably be paid
at least 140k per week (total net spend = 50million + 140k x 52 weeks x 4 years minus $ 35million = 44,12 million).
The 4th rule is interesting because a stock that is
selling at say 18 times earnings would qualify (given the other conditions), and that
valuation is not exactly what you'd call
cheap.
