Other than buying ISBN's and buying the copies I need to
sell at the
Arts & Psychic
fairs I do, it's free.
However, looking
at the numbers objectively, it's hard to defend that an author making $ 0.11 a copy on a book is a
fair wage when there's a reasonable expectation that the publisher will
sell several hundred thousand copies (and so easily recoup their initial investment of advance, editing, cover
art, formatting, etc..)
If you're a dab hand
at arts and crafts, try
selling your jewellery and artwork, whether on eBay * or
at craft
fairs.
I
