The research procedure included seven
semi-structured qualitative interviews with refugees from three different ethnic groups (Karenni, Karen and Mon), followed by four interviews with NGOs implementing livelihoods programs, an analysis of the most recent mental health survey conducted in the camps among other reports, and contextualizing the situation in the broader international legal framework for the human rights of refugees.
Using quantitative couple data from the Netherlands Kinship Panel Study (NKPS)(N = 3,016) and
semi-structured qualitative interviews (N = 34), we found that, for women, evening schedules and schedules with varying hours resulted in lower relationship quality than for men.
