«Give to the Red Cross» doesn't cut it with a
growing number of people these days, though quite a few media organizations and civic leaders have urged
people to
send their money to the American Red Cross, as they have done for more than a century.
(That's not a lot
of books, but almost every day now at least one
person buys one
of my books, and I hope to
grow those
numbers by
sending my books out to bloggers.)
A
growing number of people have a dog walker or
send their pups to day - care where they maybe have some special friends or perhaps from training or agility classes.
During the same period, the
number of e-mails
sent grew three times faster than the
number of people e-mailing; in 2006 just the e-mail traffic from one
person to another — i.e., excluding spam — accounted for 6 exabytes.
