Set up in the spring of 2015 by two
senior pension lawyers, ARC Pensions Law has quickly grown to incorporate seven partners and seven associates, with turnover expected to hit # 4m this year.
Rogers, who is chairman of the Association of
Pension Lawyers and a former partner in the
pensions practice of Mayer Brown, becomes
senior partner of the firm.
While traditionally larger firms have provided for their
senior legal partners in retirement, some are now moving away from that with the next generation not as willing to cover
pensions in an uncertain economic environment where clients are no longer so committed to a relationship with one
lawyer or firm.
