The school districts described in the above three case vignettes have much in common: a district - wide commitment to listening to
public concerns;
serious effort given to communicating district
policies and practices to the
public; and a focus on collaborating and partnering with individuals and groups from the community, including business people.

concerned foreign affairs and questions of
public policy (ordre
public) or a matter for the UAE Supreme Court if there was any
serious issue / doubt under the Constitution as to the organ which should determine such questions, falls away once it is seen that waiver of immunity is a question to be determined by the judiciary as part of the contractual and procedural law of the DIFC.
(4) A relevant decision may not be taken except on imperative grounds of

public consultation he conducted for the Ontario Government
concerning Ontario's Special Investigations Unit which investigates police action resulting in death or
serious injury.
