I currently feel that I do best on my own (non-named) gut healing protocol which includes tons
of veggies, some fruit, eggs on a rotational basis (as I suspect a sensitivity), lots
of bone broth, no dairy except occasional cooking with ghee, no refined sugar except the occasional bit
of dark chocolate, no grains except the occasional
serving of quinoa that has been soaked for 6 - 8 hours, and limiting alcohol intake.
Also some brands
of dark chocolate that are in the mid 70's in % cacao content or higher, can have a fairly high ratio
of fiber content (I've seen some brands have 5 - 7 grams
of fiber out
of 15 grams
of total carbs per
serving), and relatively low sugar content compared to the amount
of healthy fats.
