Instead of tahini, which you probably won't go through before it goes rancid, use a bit of peanut butter or a few drops of toasted
sesame oil which you'll definitely cook with again.
They tastes best when cooked in
sesame oil which is actually the authentic way of making this recipe.

It's really hearty and bursting with warming, spicy flavours from the
sesame oil to the cumin, turmeric, ginger, mustard seeds and chilli, plus there are subtle hints of tangy apple cider vinegar and garlic too,
which help to really bring it all together.
