The first thing a credit card company does in processing application is your compliance with all the requirements
set by a credit card issuer.
You must pay back all of your expenditures in full on a due date
set by the credit card issuer.

by many names, such as primary, applicant, co-applicant and authorized user, with, interestingly, no uniformly consistent
set of terms used
by card issuers to describe these two major ways in which
credit accounts are shared.

Some
credit card issuers also would
set up booths or tables on college campuses (or very close to) where they would entice college students to apply for their student
credit cards by offering free gifts that included hats, frisbees, and even food.
Do your best to keep this from happening
by setting your own
credit limits that are well below what your
card issuers allow.
