While some stretch this
season past their third decade, most of us tend to
settle down
at some
point in our late twenties or early thirties.
If we start this
season with those two
in our starting 11 it will be a clear sign from this organization that nothing has changed and that we will never get it right until both Kroenke and Wenger are gone... neither one of these players should still be with our club
at this
point because they represent the
settling half - measures that have plagued this team for a number of years... this is what I call the «no man's land» of the soccer world, where teams don't have enough talented young players, unlike a Monaco or Dortmund, because they have lost the plot from an organizational standpoint... they are so reliant on one individual to run the whole operation that their once relevant scouting department has become so antiquated that it can no longer find those hidden gems it once had... furthermore, when you leave all decision - making to a manager who despises any dissenting opinions, your management team becomes little more than a stagnant group of «yes men» and no new ideas emerge... so instead of developing a team with the qualities necessary to excel
in a particular system, you continually make half - brain purchases year after year to stifle dissent from the ticket - buying public, then try desperately to finagle together a lineup regardless of what would make positional sense... have you ever heard of a team who plays players out of position so often... of course not because that manager would likely be fired and never work for a team of any consequence ever again
At some
point in the
season we ALWAYS have to
settle for 4th: /
Let's hope Jack
settles in quickly down
at the seaside and helps the Cherries to take
points of lots of our rivals this
season.....
Let's get the facts straight here.He never demanded # 400,000 a week. All that is just media talk. However, I support your
point of the fact that him going does not mean disaster. We've survived with far better players leaving you know.If Arsenal had replaced Van Persie the
season he left we would've challenged them for the title that
season.However,
at that time we were financially poor and had to
settle for some second rate players. Now we are
in a better financial position and I expect us to be more ambitious and that involves trying as much as possible to replace any player who leaves. This doom prediction doesn't show the character of a top club.Even Chelsea won't behave like how we do if they lost Hazard.I hate the way Arsenal allows players to treat it.I actually thought only smaller clubs behaved that way.
These players have acheived nothing while
at the club yet no one holds them accountable, like we
settled for players who show no guts or pride
in our club crest and colours, spurs away last
season was a fucking disgrace,
at least lift one of the pricks with a tackle but not 1 tackle was made
in 90 mins and
in the end we gave them the momentum and
points to snatch a Champs league spot....
If West Ham do put their weekend woes behind them then they could sneak a win
at Ewood Park but this really could end
in a stalemate as both sets of players and managers would probably
settle for a
point although» Big Sam» will be desperate to land his first three
points of the
season.
