several famous Norwegian

artist Spartacus Chetwynd: she renamed herself after the gladiator partly to annoy people, she claims to live and work in a south - London nudist colony, she once reinvented Jabba the Hutt as a smooth -

Contemporary
artist Chris Doyle, featured in issue 1, and choreographer / dancer Amy Smith, featured in issue 8, will discuss
several of their collaborative experiments and

Several weeks ago, at the opening festivities for the Montréal Biennial, Ashton Cooper had the opportunity to sit down with LA - based
artist Andrea Bowers to
talk about her powerful piece in the show.
In association with the exhibition,

talks on selected Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout the exhibition.

Dana Shutz was notably silent in the debate (an apology letter attributed to Shutz turned out to be a fake), but the controversy made

I remember conducting an interview for a... I was asked to have
several artists who were participating in an exhibition about painting, to
talk about painting.
In addition to its annual program of photography exhibitions, the gallery regularly hosts

talks and lectures, publishes portfolio collections, photo books and exhibition catalogues, and participates in
several top US art fairs, including Paris Photo LA, Art Miami, Art on Paper, and EXPO CHICAGO.
Rather than emphasize continuity over time, the book emphasizes cross-generational connections, and much of the
talk focuses on the historical context — direct and indirect — that informs the work of Mexico's vibrant contemporary
artists,
several of whom — such as Francis Alÿs, Melanie Smith, and Teresa Margolles — are included in the Modern's current exhibition, México Inside Out: Themes in Art Since 1990.
