The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, has embarked on the commissioning of
several infrastructural projects as the state celebrates «Lagos @ 50».
Continuing, the statement noted that the previous administration of Dr. Saraki, the current Senate President, implemented
several infrastructural projects such as the Kwara State University, Malete, Harmony Advanced Diagnostic Centre, International Aviation College, Ilorin, Shonga farms, numerous urban and rural roads and electrification projects, remodelling of the Ilorin Township Stadium as well as pioneered the innovative Community Health Insurance Scheme.
He said Ghanaians have not benefited much from the huge resources, adding that the government's claim that it has embarked on
several infrastructural projects, is not enough reason for Ghanaians to give President Mahama a second term.
The Lagos @ 50 celebrations took a new dimension this week as the State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode embarked on commissioning of
several infrastructural projects across the State.
