A team led by astronomer Dimitar Sasselov of the Harvard - Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in Cambridge, Massachusetts, used
several large telescopes to scrutinize 59 candidate stars that OGLE singled out for a closer look via subtle
dips in their light outputs.
