If leaders in the
several churches recognize that unanimity in all
matters of theological interpretation is neither possible nor necessary to ecclesial communion, and if they recognize that the mandate of Our Lord himself makes communion between churches mandatory, then they should now decide to enter into
urgent discussion on the concrete conditions for resuming ecclesial communion.
