I can pretty much only
sew square pillows.

Two 4 - inch
squares of unbleached muslin can be
sewed together to make a
pillow with catnip and batting stuffed inside.
Even not so great sewers (like me) can cut two
squares a little smaller than the
pillow insert and
sew wrong sides together leaving room to turn inside out, stuff the
pillow and hand
sew the rest.
I just fluffed all the stuffing to one side and
sewed a seam on the other side to make a nice fluffy
square pillow to use as an insert for my favorite fabric!
When I glance at the price tag of a throw
pillow, I see how I could quickly spend way too much on a decorative item that often ends up tossed on the floor... so what about
sewing a simple
square or rectangle?
Seriously, I've had the machine for about 5 years, and all I
sew is a
square pillow.
