Despite the opening moments of the film which make use of gritty CCTV
footage,
shaky camera phones, and webcams, taking a found
footage approach, the rest of the film is smoothly and aesthetically shot in widescreen.
Video capture goes all the way up to 4K for the rear
cameras, but the lack of OIS results in a picture that isn't stabilized on the hardware level, so
footage can look a bit
shaky, especially at 2x zoom.
This has prompted a number of pro videographers to switch over high - end mirrorless
cameras due to their smoother, less
shaky footage.
Most importantly, the main
camera features optical image stabilization to combat
shaky cam
footage.
The lack of any form of stabilisation also shows as video
footage can be
shaky and generally, we wouldn't recommend relying on the Pure XR
camera for videos or photos.
