wall dives at the edge of the continental shelf, where the Tongue of the Ocean plunges to 6,000 feet.
The variety of
dives on our regular schedule includes
shallow and mid-level coral gardens, wrecks,
walls, caverns, and blue holes, as well as a shark observation
dive.
There are more than 50 named sites around the island, offering everything from channel drifts and
wall dives to
shallow reefs and critter - rich macro sites and muck fields.
With a mixture of
shallow macro
dive sites and sloping reef
walls, a
dive in Pulau Gaya promises exciting encounters with large and macro marine creatures including Frog Fish, Scorpion Fish, Lion Fish, Seahorses, Nudibranchs, Turtles, Barracuda, Tuna and even Reef Sharks.
Because of its generally good visibility and
shallow nature, this makes a good
wall dive for beginners.
This area offers many of Turneffe's best
wall dives, and there are also numerous
shallow to mid-depth sites that showcase intricate formations of staghorn, elkhorn, brain and lettuce leaf corals.
Named for its characteristic reef development, this
dive site features a profile with two distinct reef zones over a distance of about 800 ft.. A
shallow reef extends from sea level to 40 ft and a deeper reef begins at 70 ft, extending to more than 100 ft at the
wall.

wall dive and is followed by a visit to a
shallow reef or a shipwreck.
You can
dive vertical

dive sites between Punta Maroma and Tulum providing divers with numerous reef formations, giant coral buttresses deep

shallow dive, Big House is an easy to navigate mini

dive sites have a mix of ridges,
walls with overhangs, white sandy slopes and very
shallow reef tops.
The
dive sites offer a huge variety of topography, vertical
walls and sand slopes, steel and wooden shipwrecks, limestone shorelines and black volcanic outcrops, peaceful tropical bays and ripping currents,
shallow seagrass beds with both shore and boat diving in Lembongan and Penida.
The
wall formation starts deeper here so we primarily choose the stunning,
shallow dives, maximizing our bottom time.
The first
dive of the trip is one of Cayman's famous
wall sites followed by a relaxed surface interval before jumping in for our second
dive on a
shallower site on the
wall, reef system or wreck
dive.
There is a great variety of

shallows is not worth to
dive, rubble outcrop was seriously damaged by the El - Nino in 1988, but at the steep slope and the deep jagged

shallow bays or
dive the steep

dive spot is
shallower than «The
Wall,» and is home to an abundance of healthy, colorful coral reefs.
The second
dive of the day was in Keruo Channel and the current provided a good opportunity for a drift
dive along this
wall covered in gorgonians, sponges and by the southern
shallower part, soft and hard coral.
You will find great
dives on
shallow reefs,
wall dives even double
walls, drift sites and caverns.
Closer to the pearl farm we did our third
dive, in Channel Island, a
shallow plateau that descends into a
wall where the soft coral, especially in
shallow waters, is impressive and colorful, especially in pink tonalities.
For the third
dive we moved to Hatta Island, to a
dive site called Batu Gollang, very nice
wall full of over hangs and a garden of soft coral on the
shallow plateau.
Most days are started by a deep
wall dive followed by a
shallow reef or wreck.

dive locations ranging from
shallow coral gardens to deep fringing reefs and vertical
walls dropping to over 140 feet!
Bohol diving has a fantastic mix of
dive sites, from pretty
shallow shelving reefs with macro, to 30m
walls to keep even the most advanced diver interested.
Staghorn Crest - At this
dive site, you will find yourself beginning with a gentle descent along the drop - off, followed by a gradual diagonal descent along the
wall, at the
shallow end of which there is a garden of staghorn corals.
