skilled than others, so be sure to practice in

Depth and decompression are not everything — it's about
skills and knowledge and many divers start their journey as advanced open
water divers with a recreational Sidemount course or enjoy
shallow dives on their rebreather.
While in
shallow waters, deliberately flooding the snorkel and mask can help you develop snorkeling

After a short dive briefing, you'll get to try a few scuba
skills in
shallow water to get you comfortable with the equipment.
In
water that we can stand up in, we take our first breaths underwater and practice a few fun, easy
skills in the
shallow Caribbean sea with fish swimming past right off the bat.

If you're comfortable with your underwater route finding capabilities and swimming
skills to get through
shallow reef
water, this probably won't be necessary but for inexperienced snorkelers, I think it's a great way to avoid trouble.

shallow water confined sessions to practice diving
skills, and 4 dives in the sea to review
skills, explore and have fun.
Participants get to try a few scuba

water after a short dive briefing and training session.
Once in the
water, you will practice several basic scuba
skills with your Instructor in
shallow water (
shallow enough for you to be able to stand up if needed) then go on a dive in the crystal clear
waters of the Blue Lagoon to a maximum depth of 6 meters.
Your instructor will start by teaching you a few essential
skills in
shallow water.
During the Discover Scuba Diving experience you'll learn how to use scuba equipment in
shallow water, get a comfortable and easy introduction to a few Scuba
skills before diving in open
water, all under the watchful eye of a PADI Instructor.

Day 2 (Afternoon)- Scuba
Skills Pool Practice (
shallow) We will help you get into your scuba gear for the first time and head into our confined
shallow water swimming pool.
Drivers, especially inexperienced drivers, may not have the
skill to make quick decisions to avoid swimmers, other watercraft, docks, piers, or
shallow water.
