Manta Point and Crystal Bay can be more challenging due to the currents and cold water, and Nusa Lembongan is the relaxing, warmer,
shallower dive usually done after a long lunch break and surface interval.

Dives in the channel are
usually followed by a snorkel in the
shallows of nearby Shark Ray Alley, which is the only place in the world where swimmers can interact with stingrays and nurse sharks in the same location.
During our surface interval, we motor to our second
dive site which is
usually a
shallow reef or drift
dive.
They are
usually not nearly as varied and spectacular as the
shallow reefs, so unless you simply want to do a deep
dive, it is best to stay on the
shallow reefs.
The

usually starts deep before
shallowing up and approaching a nearby jetty.
