patties (I press them flat so they just need to be browned either side and cooked through where
as I find a ball -
shape more difficult to evenly cook).
I just made this & divided
into 4 to make 2 top & bottom hamburger buns (
shaped / pressed by hand to about 1/4 inch to be same size - diameter
as burger
patty).
** When I used the gluten - free oats, they didn't hold together
as well when I was trying to
shape them
into patties, but once they cook on one side, they firm up nicely and it's not an issue.
If I didn't want to deal with muffins tins and the parchment strips I'm assuming I could
shape these
into rounds, pat them down, and bake
as patties on a baking sheet?
Toffee thongs: I have confectionary moulds I bought years ago —
as you do — in the
shape of thongs and just used a bog - standard toffee recipe, poured
into the moulds instead of
patty cases.
