I took a tour of the RIM / BlackBerry booth this week at CES, and I've got some words to
share about my experience there.
Not exact matches
There's so much you do have, and it's not just things; you also have
experiences, family and friends, memories, pockets of happy moments, laughter your
shared with someone, your personal strengths, your skills and talents, and you most likely also have a reasonable amount of knowledge
about the world and how it works.
If you're sitting
there dreaming of market
share and billion - dollar opportunities and only thinking
about how much you can capitalize, how can you come up with ideas to enhance your user
experience?
My friend wasn't
there, and I
shared my testimony (which includes the dream the Lord gave me) with another man, who unknown to me, whispered in the ear of the new pastor that I was talking
about a «mystical
experience.»
There is nothing unnatural
about any
shared love, even between two of the same gender, if that
experience calls both partners to a fuller state of being.
It's important to keep in mind that negative encounters with «the Church» are, in reality, negative encounters with certain people in the Church, and that
there are many wonderful, compassionate, God - honoring people eager to
share positive stories
about why church is a such a critical part of our collective faith
experience.
What I can tell
about our
shared experience with Mormon doctrine is this: Yes,
there was a big emphasis on Jesus» ours being a more conventional, fairly trinitarian concept of our Lord» but, as strong as that emphasis was, it never managed to trump the implied and de facto role of Joseph Smith in our belief system.
People who have left the church because they've gone down some sort of slippery ethical slope are not the ones talking
about their
experiences and
sharing with other Christians outside the church or even making it known that they ARE still Christians, but
there are a great many Christians who don't go to a formal church service.
There is a variety of ways to get connected as a group — joining hands in the circle with eyes closed for a moment and then discussing what each person
experienced; milling around, taking a brief time to hold the hands and look into the eyes of each member, repeating his name; talking in pairs for a few minutes
about topics such as «What I hope for and fear in this group,» «What's most important to me right now,» «What I hope to become in the next year,» after which each person introduces his partner to the group,
sharing what he has learned.
I might seem like I'm raving on
about this Burcha but seriously I want to
share this info and my
experience because it has been so positive and simple and I want others to reap the benefits of this to and that's all I ever really want, is others to find some type of happiness in what I
share and to help them on their health journey, because finding ways to optimal health is not always straight forward for many people especially when
there is so much miss information or forced information in mainstream media these days.
