I'm
sharing all
of our before
photos (complete with unpacked boxes and paint samples splotched all over the walls), and I hope you'll join me on our journey to turn this
house into our next home!
So, though the craziness
of packing our entire
house into 3 U-boxes and 2 vehicles has made it difficult to post, and though lack
of a signal has made it difficult to keep in touch via Instagram and Facebook, I want to
share some
photos from that day
of our trip, along with outfit details,
of course!
I've been
sharing little snippets
of our rooms and decor on INSTAGRAM, but as you know,
photos are pretty deceiving as there is still a ton
of work to do to get the
house decorated and us feeling fully «moved in.»

We liked the weathered look in the inspiration
photos I
shared last week, but agreed with some
of you that we needed a little more contrast to keep the
house from feeling washed out, so we wanted a dark gray stain that would provide a subtle pop, but still allow the grain
of the wood to show through for the weathered effect we liked.

Elderberry is such a gentleman and doesn't get into much trouble, but not pictured is Buckwheat knocking over a vase... I also took a few
