To fail to be one's true human self is to fail in maintaining on one's
part the right relationship with God in the divine intention for mankind and at the same moment a failure in right relationships with
other men and women and children, characterized as it should be by the caring,
sharing, giving, and receiving which brings about a condition
of peace and concord — which is shalom or abundance
of life.
The Church, teacher
of humanity, never tires
of exhorting people, especially the young
of whom you are a
part, to remain watchful and not to fear choosing «alternative» paths which only Christ can indicate... Jesus calls all his friends to
live in sobriety and solidarity, to create sincere and disinterested emotional relationships with
others... From you, dear young students, he asks for honest commitment to study, cultivating a mature sense
of responsibility and a
shared interest in the common good.
God does not want to be «figured out» but wants to be in relationship with us so his (or, if you will, her) love, wisdom, inspiration, health, energy and very
life can be
part of us, flow through us and give us love,

others.
In that group, Hyung Goo got to care for
others, as well as be cared for by them; he got to

lives, to play with their children, to be
part of the family
of the church,
It's a big
part of my
life and I want to
