Next time you do evangelism, try to recognize that sometimes, there are more important things than
sharing the gospel with words.
If
we share the gospel with words, and they reject it, we can still be friends, because our life is «gospelism» (evangelism) just as much as our words.

gospel album and thanking her for «showing me how to live and to spread the
word.»
It is the abiding
Word of God alone that tests and accompanies all study of Scripture; it challenges and encourages us to continue on this road, critically weighing all human
words about God's
Word,
with the expectation and certainty
shared with the church of all ages that the «jewel» of the
gospel will not be lost in a new and still unknown future.24
Nevertheless,
with his anger stayed, Apelles puts away his knife and will soon become Paul's friend and a partner in
sharing the
gospel about Jesus — but not before he begins to see that the love of God, embodied in Paul's bizarre behavior and seemingly inappropriate
words, means to claim him as God's own.
But on the other, the lack of consensus regarding the content of this «good news» we're supposed to be
sharing with the world makes me wonder if we're missing something important about the original meaning and purpose of the
word «
gospel.»
In the following chapter, I will issue a call to cancel several
word - heavy evangelistic programs, and exchange them for a way of life that lives and
shares the
gospel in a tangible way
with others.
The only things that we need to concern ourselves
with are the two things that Yehoshua told us to do:
Share the Good
Word («Good Spell» or «
Gospel» in the old tongue)
with everyone who will listen and Treat our neighbors as we would want to be treated (which includes feeding and clothing the NEEDY).
Sometime during the tribulation, they believed in Jesus for eternal life, and because of this, they obeyed what God's
Word said they should do, and took care of the Jewish missionaries who had
shared the good news of the
Gospel with them in the first place.
So, it is not His true followers that you have angst
with, it is HIM that you have angst
with, we merely LIFT HIM UP, we merely ACCEPT HIS
WORD, we merely SPEAK HIS
WORD, we merely HOLD TO HIS
WORD, we merely
SHARE & PREACH HIS

Hopefully as we genuinely love people, this will eventually allow us to
share the
gospel with them, although we must always remember that our actions are often «preaching the
gospel» more than our
words ever will.
Among the younger generation who struggle
with the idea of Jesus being the unique path of salvation, it is easy to find an «out» here from actually engaging in traditional
gospel sharing... after all those on the cutting edge say «the church» needs to talk less and do more... «if necessary use
words».
