I saw five whale
sharks during my dive as well as being able to dive up the infamous chimney (the coolest vertical swim up a hollow rock formation) and seeing wildlife from 18m all the way up to 2m!

shark or two as well as some fish and the steep vertical face of the rock channel we were exploring.
There are as many as 25
dive sites on the Gili Islands with varying topography and diverse marine life which includes reef

Whale
Sharks are also around all year with the high season being between October & April, when sightings of up to 20 can be see
during a boat ride out to the
dive sites.
During this
dive you will have the chance to see these incredible animals interacting with Jeferson, who has been working closely with our
sharks for over 13 years.
Aside from the wrecks themselves, these
dive sites tend to be the preferred cruising areas of the larger animals such as
sharks, rays and whales
during winter months.

dive sites on Aliwal Shoal, known for the haven of ragged tooth
sharks during the mating season.

dive sites offer abundant marine life and some of them are frequently visited
during the
dive season by manta rays and whale
sharks.

dive included: Banded Sea Snake, Day Octopus, Hawksbill Turtle and smaller creatures, like the Bargibanti Pygmy Seahorse, nudibranchs, five different kinds of flatworms, headshield slug, Hairy Shrimp and even a nocturnal Epaulette
Shark.
Finally, don't miss a
dive at Los Arcos
during Bull
Shark season from November to March.
During the
dive, from time to time you see big rocks and boomies with a lot of macro stuff around as nudibranch, crabs, pygmy sea horses and also wobbegong
sharks below.

Sharks and more were seen
during the
dive.
During night
dives it's not uncommon to find sleeping
sharks within the caves.
First stay for a couple of days in one of our hotels along the Riviera Maya to
dive the Cenotes, Barracuda, Mama Viña Wreck, Tortugas and the Bull

Beautiful corals, big hawksbill turtles, giant manta rays, giant sunfishes, reef
sharks, hammerhead
sharks and many more beautiful creatures can be spotted
during a
dive.
Indeed,
during a
dive I did 18 years ago in Thailand, I saw firsthand evidence of this, 95 feet below the surface, where a
shark was dead on the ocean floor without a dorsal or tail fin.
