Moral to the story, if you're not going for cow's milk, and goat / sheep milk doesn't interest you / agree with you either, look for products with minimal additives or, better yet, make your own!

The french and bulgarian stuff are made of cow's
milk and have nothing to
do with the traditional feta: the name is legally protected (at least in EU) and can only be used for the type of white cheese made only in GREECE, from
sheep's
milk (or a mix of
sheep and goat's
milk), using a certain procedure.

I made a few changes: I used all plain flour (that's all I had),

If you have trouble digesting cow's
milk — or even if you don't — try goat's,
sheep's, soybean or almond
milk.
Some people who
do not tolerate cow's
milk do fine with
sheep or goat's
milk because the casein components are different.
Does sheep and goats

I've opted for coconut
milk yogurt to keep this breakfast bowl both vegan and paleo - friendly but you can use whatever kind you'd like (I like to use
sheep or goat
milk yogurt if I'm not
doing dairy - free).
Don't eat excessive amounts of dairy - goat
milk and cheese is the best option with
sheep second.
However, I
do seem to be able to tolerate a2 casein (
sheep and goats
milk) in moderation.
Also, I don't know whether you're lactose intolerant or not, but you might tolerate
sheep or goat's
milk better (many people
do) depending on whether you're actually lactose intolerant or whether it's one of the other compounds in cow's
milk that's
doing you in.
If you
do manage to find raw
milk in health stores and farmer's markets, make sure it's from grass - fed cows, goats or
sheep.
I tend to eat fermented dairy and a lot of
sheep's
milk as opposed to cow, but my family is prone to arthritis and other conditions and I don't want to develop them later.
