So the day of the shoot, Buff (aka photographer for House Beautiful and every other
shelter mag on the planet) and Ann (stylist to stars like Tribeza and Camille Styles) show up at my doorstep with a boatload of equipment and gargantuan buckets of flowers.
Shaped out of what used to be the only Bathroom in the whole house, it's now a 6 foot by 6 foot restful little room that I have fallen asleep in many a time, while enjoying
a shelter mag and listening to rain hit the metal roof above.
Since my heart literally skips a beat each time a new
shelter mag appears in my mailbox, I decided to have some fun and display the master bedroom photos we shot at Screened Inn «magazine style» in this post.
I've been watching way too much Undercover Boss (pass the tissues, please), and reading lots of oldie - but - goodie
shelter mags.
Kev and I made a trip to Books - A-Million the other day and were stoked to find the October issue of Cottages & Bungalows there on the shelf amongst all the other snazzy
shelter mags!

I so rarely see pianos in
shelter mags or on blogs, so it's wonderful to see examples of how people decorate around them.
We know that good intentions and hard work for inspiration go into publications and
shelter mags.
