shelter for dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small mammals; a low - cost spay / neuter clinic and pet wellness center for the public; and a pet cemetery on our property called the Nicodemus Memorial Park, which offers funeral, burial, and cremation services as well as free pet bereavement services that are open to all (not
just clients of the cemetery.)
They also dump adult dogs and cats or
just neglect the animals until the poor things wander off on their own, to be

And as I said before, it would be great if every
shelter could be no
kill and use aggressive adoption drives to find homes instead of
killing animals, but that costs money and there are unfortunately, many, many tax payers who
just aren't willing to spend it on saving dogs and cats.
If we (as a movement) are to bring an end to the
killing of pets in
shelters, we need to engage the public on a deeper level than
just a guilt - relieving donation.

just a few short weeks of authorizing Tom Hubric, our Executive Director, to explore the feasibility of the ARL becoming a no -
kill shelter, our foster pool grew by over 25 %, our volunteer pool tripled in size, we received several very generous monetary donations and the overall support of the community has been completely overwhelming.
While the
shelter director can no longer
kill them as puppies, they can, now,
just hold them until they reach 3 months of age and then systematically
kill the dogs.
Our goal through these videos is to not only showcase Vinny Love's talent, but more importantly, show the world that there are MILLIONS of remarkable animals
