I knew I had to
shoot some photos for the blog while I was there because I'm obsessed with flowers and this place is unreal!
So when I start
shooting some photos for my blog I always try different spots and angles and when I am happy with the how it looks, I will use that spot for the rest of my photos.
Even though this was truly a look which kept me completely warm, I have to admit that
shooting photos for the blog hasn't been one of my favorite activities those last weeks.
Not that I'm usually in a frenzy when
I shoot photos for my blog!
I'm so used to being in front of the camera on a regular basis, whether it's
shooting photos for the blog, filming a beauty tutorial or a casual vlog..

photo shooting about 2 weeks ago and realized that this is the first time I am posting a chocolate layer cake on my
blog.
-- our weekend was spent over some wine (drunk by the mr., not meee) and some homemade peanut butter cups — my latest recipe which will show up on the
blog soon (of course, they needed to be «taste tested» 3 times and I just kept making more and more... because there was never enough to keep

This is not the best
photo in the world but I do not always like to spoil special moments by trying to get the best
shot or save occasion cakes
for blog photos.
You can choose between white - background
photos (which are great
for press features where they need just the product and no shadows or props) or lifestyle
shots, which work really well as product
shots for your shop, as banner
photos, to showcase your work on your
blog or social media channels, and to send to journalists or bloggers
for interviews or other features.
My followers (ugh, that term), who are often my yoga students as well, are accustomed to seeing links to my articles: me striking yoga poses from both professional
shoots and my home practice, what I cook
for dinner (with links to my food
blog), information about my book tour, adorable
photos of my pups, and the occasional glimpse into my personal life.
Most of you who have read my
blog for a while or spoken to me directly about nutrition know that I am not a fan of removing carbohydrates from the diet unless it's
for temporary purposes, such as preparing
for a wedding,
photo shoot or competition.
This
photo of Tracy was taken at 6 am in our garage gym where she trained
for over 3 years while losing her weight and developing her swing methods.She never expected it to be used
for anything other than one of her
blog posts.She didn't light it, or do her hair and makeup it was a real deal
shot from a real deal workout.

So many times I've been editing my own outfit

blog and thinking to myself that if only people would know what happened before or after those

Saturday was pretty much occupied with the

shot there because there is such an abundance of structures in one area, such as The Walt Disney Hall and The Broad.
I kept my shorts on

photos because 1) we were already dying laughing that Will was
shooting me in a bikini on a beach and 2) I thought I'd never pose in just a bikini on my
blog but then the Bahamas happened so YOLO.

We did manage to get out over the weekend
for a
photo shoot for our Christmas cards and to take
blog photos.
While I would love to create a
blog post
for every outfit I wear, I don't always have the time to do a full
photo shoot.
Even though we've been getting a lot of rain lately, which haven't made
blog photo shoot easy
for me, that's not the only reason why I haven't been really consistent with my outfit posts lately!
While borrowing
photos from the lovely girls at Le Fanciulle I got a little addicted to their Flickr account, thanks to all of the amazing
photos... Trish is so on point every time, I had no idea that the
shots that don't make it to their
blog are uploaded on Flickr
for extra content.
This was our first time taking
photos together
for the
blog / Instagram, so we definitely have some learning and practice to do in terms of our poses and perhaps the location of the
shoot.
When I'm not
shooting outfit
photos for the
blog or baking a new recipe, you can find me listening to country music, trying a new restaurant with my husband or working out (yoga classes are my fav).
We love taking Noah on evening strolls and he was quite the trooper
for this walk since we turned it into a
blog photo shoot.
