It has never really been about how much you spend or how much of a genius you are, it takes sustained competitiveness at the highest level and / or that extra bit of luck to have a shot at it hence my [previous] happiness at being in the top four [lots of clubs would do almost anything to get in that league], however even that can get stale, to be realistic, I think progress would be aiming for the top two now, enough of these top four stories, it ran its course now we need to aim higher, when the top two is our priority, it becomes inevitable that whoever might be in front of us is bound to slip up on a few occasions ala Bayern and Dortmund, we should now set our sights on the top four of the champions league lol

obviously I would prefer to have a much more suitable alternative in the defensive midfielder positions but if they focused more on defensive end and the occasional long - ball, this would allow Bellerin and Sead ample opportunities to bomb forward on their respective wings while still having enough cover to maintain their defensive shape... it would likewise allow for overlapping runs on both wings, thereby letting both Sanchez and Perez to cut inside and get shots away in and around the top of the box with their most dominant feet... if goals were needed I would sub Bellerin for OX and bring Ramsey in for Elneny then switch to a 3 -2-4-1 (more of a 3 -1-5-1 with Ramsey playing higher up the pitch) and I would only use Giroud as a sub when the game dictated it for tactical reasons... this would allow us to be a high energy team with incredible link - up play and a much more direct approach in the offensive end

Just watching all four teams who were above us last season and I'm fearfull we might not get our top four back anytime soon, I hope I'm totally wrong but on the performance I've seen this weekend from them our best shot is the the Europa league by winning it thus automatic qualifications into champions league but out Mr know all manager is being deluded as usual thinking we are good enough to win the premiership again I hope I'm proved wrong
