Simons sets itself apart on the experiential aspect of
shopping, appealing to young - ish, fashion - conscious shoppers who appreciate
high style, but
shop at a number of
price points.
Though I stopped
shopping there for a while after
high school, I check back in every now and then since they have some cute pieces
at a great
price point.
(Also, if you're on the site long enough, quite often you'll end up seeing similar pieces in the big home decor
shops but, quite often,
at a slightly
higher price point.)
Note: If you think the
prices are
high (which you may
at first glance if you're accustomed to
shopping at big box stores), then I recommend you purchase your own skeins of pure wool (which aren't cheap) and spend several hours attempting to create a hat,
at which
point you'll realize the skill, the hours, and the knowledge that goes into such an item.
