closet mindset, you cut the junk and
shop more ethically; I've made an effort to stop supporting big corporations such
as H&M and Forever 21... this consumerism mindset is hard to get out of, and this is a great first step.

I've been
shopping at Tobi since my freshman year of high school (so for five years), and I've always viewed them
as a go - to for trendy pieces, but also pieces that'll be in your
closet for a while.
There's no such thing
as perfect, and even though I'm committed to having a smaller wardrobe, I'm not playing by any hard and fast rules, and although, yes, I do consider myself a shopaholic, I also don't WANT to avoid
shopping or buying new things for my
closet, I just want to do it more thoughtfully.
To combat this it's important to learn to
shop your
closet to create looks then fill any gaps you find
as needed.
I feel like New York has rubbed off on me in so many little ways — I walk way faster than I ever have in my little legged life, I don't even remember what cooking is like, and I find myself
shopping less because I just don't have
as much room in my
closet.

As someone with a bit of
