With so much competition between the dive shops on the island we try to stand out by having the smallest student to instructor ratio, dive computers for all student courses and qualified fun divers, 15 litre tanks for those who like extra air, long 3 mm wetsuits as well as the usual
shorty suits and 5 mm dive booties and open heel fins rather than the full foot fins to prevent the chaffing and blisters which would otherwise occur.

If you are bringing your own dive gears then you probably want to bring a 3 mm — 5 mm
shorties or full
suits (some are happy with only a rash vest).
We recommend a 3 mm full
suit, long arms and long legs over a
shortie, because of the pica - pica and because of sunburn, which is a real issue in Belize.
From Trujillo down you'll want a 3/2 and if you get up north to Lobitos or Mancora you can shed the
suit and surf in your
