You can opt to not
show notifications on the lock screen, but that takes away a useful feature.
You can use Personalize to easily change your lock screen picture, and change the applications that
show notifications on the lock screen — though no applications are currently available to use.
The Facial recognition only
shows notifications on the locked screen once it recognises the user's face.
Finally, you can opt to prevent certain apps from
showing notifications on your lock screen altogether by disabling the switch next to them at the bottom of this screen.
Open «Settings > System > Notifications and actions» and turn off «
Show notifications on the lock screen».
Honor View 10 also supports Facial Recognition, which only
shows notifications on the locked screen when it recognises the user's face.
For starters, ensure that your notifications are not showing up on the lock screen by going to the Settings > System > Notifications & actions and while in there, turn off the «

As pointed out by ChromeUnboxed (and first spotted by XDA - Developers), a new commit shows that Chrome OS will soon offer the ability to
show notifications on the lock screen of your Chromebook.
