Do you recommend putting in a glass
shower door so that the floor, subfloor, walls and molding don't get water damage?

There was no full coverage /
door and a gap between the seal and small little
door that was there
so a large puddle would be on the floor once we were done
showering.
It was farther away and not inviting; 2) the
showers were cold and continued to be
so after daily complaints; it was uncomfortable not to have locks on the
door.
The downsides of the property were the distance to the beach (about a ten minute walk from town, making it

Hello everyone, a few months ago I asked BP members to advise if a kitchen pantry would increase the value of a house or if we should even ad a pantry and I got a «yes» from a few people on BP, I also needed to know if we should ad a glass
shower door to master bathroom or use that money to epoxy the garage floors, I got yeses and no's on that question,
so we risked it and did not ad a glass
shower door (you will see pic below of bathroom) and we did not epoxy the garage floors, we instead painted the garage.
I knew that I had to gingerly explain what the problem was before investigating the other five or
so complaints (veneer peeling off of the kitchen cupboard
doors; paint peeling off of the bathroom ceilings and walls; mold growing in the
showers; windows constantly sweating; fillings rusting in their mouths... just kidding!).
Frameless
shower doors are made from thicker glass than other
shower doors — three - eights to one - half inch thickness as opposed to one - quarter inch thickness —
so they tend to cost at least twice the amount of a framed
shower door.
So, this
shower door is easy to clean and maintain.
I know it's temporary, but the
shower curtain looks
so much better than the
shower doors... cleaner too.
Also, the
shower currently stores the remaining cabinet
doors for the kitchen and laundry, as it has for the last six months or
so.

so glad to find someone else who hates

Corner designs take up very little room — the
door on this
shower slides around the frame,
so it doesn't need any more space than what you can see.

shower enclosure (no tub) that had a brass finished glass
door on it which wouldn't come clean
so my husband removed it several years ago.

You might be tempted to add an opaque
door to your
shower to keep a certain sense of privacy, but doing
so chops the space in half, without giving you any real privacy (you can still see the main bathroom

shower door and a minimal toilet that still looks like out of the last catalogue.
